Tammy J is the voice behind the WildAnnie stream. She began streaming in 2013 as a 3 month experiment to help overcome social anxiety. Now in her ninth year on Twitch she’s still at it! Thanks to the support of the WildAnnie Subscribers and her ‘Fight Club’ community she manages to keep the stream going while allowing her to work from home as a carer for her Mother.

 The WildAnnie avatar was custom made by Tammy herself as way to have a ‘cam’ presence on the stream. She felt that using a facecam directly would only add to her anxiety, and not add a great deal of value to the stream. At 52 years of age, she’s no cam-bunny! 

The WildAnnie avatar has undergone several changes and redesigns from the original, and now uses Adobe software rather than Facerig. New characters have been introduced over the years, such as Henry who is based on a life-sized Beagle plushy that she had at 3 years old (and still has!)

As a hobby, Tammy is an Aquarist, who prefers pond fish (but doesn’t have a pond!). Hence she keeps various goldfish varieties along with Corydora catfish in several tanks next to her streaming set up. In the past, some of her fish have featured on the stream, including the late ‘Klaus’, and ‘Fluke’ (who was named by one of the regular viewers, and first appeared 1 week after hatching). Fluke has now also become an animated character on the stream, sitting in a bowl on the desk and can also be seen driving the RV in the intro animation!

Currently, Tammy lives in Hampshire, is single (and not looking), owns a lifesize Cyberman head, and prefers a diet of pizza and tea.
